Jillian and Dillon's Epic Wedding Day

Jillian and Dillon's wedding day was a stunning lakeside celebration from start to finish — beautifully serene in the morning and absolutely electric by evening. As Emerson Park Pavilion wedding photographers and videographers, we love every opportunity we get to work at this iconic Auburn venue, and Jillian and Dillon's day reminded us exactly why.

The morning began at a picturesque lakeside home in Skaneateles, where Jill prepared with her bridal party as the sun rose over the shimmering water. The setting was perfectly tranquil — soft morning light, the lake glistening in the background, and a house filled with the excitement, laughter, and love of the people closest to her. Jill looked absolutely radiant as she slipped into her gown, with her mother and Maid of Honor by her side every step of the way. Dillon and his groomsmen prepared separately, finishing their final touches at the venue with the help of his father.

The ceremony took place at Emerson Park Pavilion on the shores of Owasco Lake in Auburn, NY — one of the most breathtakingly scenic wedding ceremony settings in all of Central New York. Nestled among lush greenery with sweeping water views in every direction, the setting was picture-perfect as guests took their seats with the lake shimmering behind the couple and sunlight filtering softly through the trees. Jill and Dillon exchanged personal, meaningful vows surrounded by their closest family and friends in a moment that was as beautiful as the backdrop behind them.

Following the ceremony, guests moved inside for an elegant cocktail hour at Emerson Park Pavilion — decorated more beautifully than we had ever seen it, thanks to the incredible work of Rachel from RD Events & Design, whose floral and décor vision was absolutely stunning. As an Auburn NY wedding photographer and videographer who has worked at this venue multiple times, seeing it transformed so beautifully was genuinely breathtaking.

Then the party began — and it never stopped. Dillon's cousin Alex took over DJ duties with an eclectic, perfectly curated playlist spanning new and classic hits that kept every single guest on the dance floor all night long. Dance footage was most definitely not an issue! The energy in the room was infectious and joyful from the very first song to the very last.
