Hannah and Hayden's Anniversary Wedding

Hannah and Hayden's wedding was one of the most layered and meaningful celebrations we have ever had the privilege of capturing — a day steeped in history, family legacy, and a love story that has been unfolding since the very day they chose to celebrate it. September 1st is the anniversary of the day their love story began, and it became the perfect date to begin the next chapter as well.

The ceremony took place at Hannah's family home on "Monell Mountain" in Owego, NY — a stunning private estate with sweeping views of the Owego countryside and a gentle summer breeze rolling over the hills. What made this setting even more profoundly meaningful is that the ceremony site is the exact spot where Hannah's parents exchanged their own vows many years earlier. As Binghamton wedding photographers and videographers, we have stood at many beautiful ceremony sites across Central New York and the Southern Tier — but few have carried the kind of generational weight and personal meaning that this one did.

Hannah and Hayden's personal vows were among the most touching we have ever heard. They told the story of the day they met, their first "three kisses" — which explains why throughout the entire film their kisses always happen in threes — and the beautiful promises they made to one another for the future. In most films we keep the vows edited down for pacing, but in this case their words were so genuinely moving and so full of their story that it simply made sense to include them in full. Future generations will be grateful for it.

After the moving ceremony on the family estate, guests made their way to the elegant Binghamton Club in Binghamton, NY for cocktails, a beautifully appointed dinner, and one of the most fun dance floors we have experienced in the Southern Tier. DJ Toby Varner was absolutely outstanding — keeping the energy high, the floor packed, and the entire evening flowing perfectly from start to finish. The Binghamton Club provided an elegant and sophisticated setting that was a wonderful complement to the warmth and intimacy of the outdoor ceremony earlier in the day.

It was also a genuine pleasure working with wedding planner Meghan Goforth of Goforth Event Planning and photographer Kristy Johnston of Kristy's Imagination Photography — a wonderful team whose professionalism and care made the entire day seamless from beginning to end.
