There is something truly magical about a wedding in Upstate New York — and Kelsey and Robert's day at Burlap and Lace Barn in Camden, NY captured that magic perfectly. As a Camden NY wedding photographer and videographer, I have had the privilege of working at many beautiful venues across Central and Upstate New York, but I can honestly say that Burlap and Lace Barn features one of the most picturesque ceremony sites in the entire region. With the sun shining, the rustic charm of the barn in full glory, and a couple as wonderful as Kelsey and Robert at the center of it all — it was a breathtaking day from start to finish.

From the moment I met Kelsey and Robert I knew their film was going to be something special. The story of how they met, their first date, and the way they look at each other told me everything I needed to know. That connection was palpable and unmistakable throughout every single moment of their day.

When it came time for the ceremony at Burlap and Lace Barn, the highlight was undoubtedly the personal vows they had written for one another. In most weddings I edit the vows down significantly to keep the film's pacing moving. But Kelsey and Robert's words were so genuinely moving that I kept as much of their original audio as possible — their highlight film ran a little longer than planned because of it, and it was absolutely worth every extra second.

The atmosphere throughout the reception was pure joy. Kelsey and Robert are surrounded by extraordinary love, and that was never more evident than during the toasts — some of the most touching and funniest speeches we have ever heard at a wedding. We made sure to weave pieces of those speeches throughout the film to capture the incredible community of support surrounding them as they begin their lives together as Burlap and Lace Barn newlyweds.

Once the formalities wrapped, it was time to celebrate — and celebrate they did. The dance floor was absolutely packed all night long thanks to DJ Jeff of Select Receptions, who brought incredible energy from the very first song to the very last. It was a high-energy party that perfectly balanced the sentimental beauty of the morning.
