A Picture-Perfect Day at The Burlap and Lace Barn

There is something truly magical about a wedding in Upstate New York, especially when it takes place at one of the region's most stunning hidden gems. It was such an honor to capture Kelsey and Robert’s wedding at The Burlap and Lace Barn in Camden, New York.

As a wedding videographer & photographer, I have seen a lot of venues across the state, but I can honestly say that Burlap and Lace Barn features one of the most picturesque ceremony sites in Upstate New York. With the sun shining and the rustic charm, it was a breathtaking setting for a truly amazing couple.

A Love Story Told Through Heartfelt Vows
From the moment I met Kelsey and Robert, I knew their film was going to be something special. I loved hearing the story of how they met & their first date, and that connection was palpable throughout their entire day.

​

When it came time for the ceremony, the highlight was undoubtedly the personal vows they wrote for one another. Usually, when I’m editing a wedding film, I have to trim the vows down a lot, keeping just a bit, to keep the pacing of the video. However, Kelsey and Robert’s words were so moving, I kept as much of their original audio in as possible. Because of that, their highlight film ran a little longer than planned, but it was absolutely worth it.

Celebrating with Family and Friends
The atmosphere of the day was filled with joy. Kelsey and Robert are surrounded by so much love, which was evident during the reception. Their closest friends delivered some of the most touching (and funny!) toasts I’ve heard in a long time. I made sure to weave pieces of those speeches into their film to capture the support they have as they begin their lives together.

Once the formalities were over, it was time to celebrate! The dance floor was absolutely packed all night, thanks to the incredible energy provided by Select Receptions' DJ Jeff. It was a high-energy party that perfectly balanced the sentimental beauty of the morning. 

We couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more perfect day. From the scenic views in Camden to the rustic elegance of the barn, every detail of Kelsey and Robert’s wedding was a dream to film.
