Ariel & Morgan's Elegant, Rustic Wedding in Upstate, NY

We had the genuine pleasure of capturing the wedding of Ariel and Morgan at The Kester Homestead in Memphis, NY — a fun, deeply genuine couple whose day was as beautiful and organic as the stunning venue surrounding them. Our goal was to create a film that captured their spirits, their deep love for each other, and the full story of their day — and when Morgan texted us afterward that the video made her tear up, it felt incredibly rewarding.

The Kester Homestead in Memphis, NY is one of the most unique and enchanting wedding venues in all of Central New York and the Finger Lakes region. Just a stone's throw from the Finger Lakes, this beautifully preserved property features a stunning historic Empire-style house where nearly every room is bathed in gorgeous natural light — making it an absolute dream for getting ready photos and film. But the true crown jewel of The Kester Homestead is its woodland cathedral ceremony site — without question one of the top three ceremony locations in all of Central New York. Down a short, peaceful path from the barn, rows of church pews face a beautifully hand-crafted wooden arbor nestled deep in the woods. Sunlight filters through a canopy of leaves overhead, songbirds fill the trees, and the whole setting feels genuinely magical. It is the kind of ceremony space that makes every couple stop and catch their breath the first time they see it — and Ariel and Morgan's personal, touching vows in that space were absolutely unforgettable.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails while we captured some wonderfully fun moments with the couple and their wedding party along the property's beautiful paths. Guests were then treated to one of the most memorable first dances we have ever filmed — a high-energy choreographed routine set to a creative mash-up of several songs that had every single guest on their feet and cheering. It was the perfect expression of who Ariel and Morgan are as a couple.

The dance floor stayed packed all evening long, thanks to the incredible DJ Paul Manzari of Envisioned Event — one of Central New York's finest wedding entertainers and the person who was kind enough to refer Ariel and Morgan to us. That kind of vendor trust is something we never take for granted.
