Ariel and Chris’s April 2025 wedding at Curtis Manor was the kind of day you don’t forget — filled with heartfelt moments, a little rain, and a whole lot of love. I had the pleasure of providing videography services, and from start to finish, their story was a joy to capture.
The day began quietly, with calm skies and a soft overcast — and I was thankfully able to capture drone footage of the property just moments before the rain rolled in. Not long after, a steady drizzle set the tone for a cozy, heartfelt celebration that followed.
Curtis Manor offers two beautiful suites for couples to prepare in, and both were full of laughter and anticipation. Ariel’s suite was bright and peaceful, while Chris and his groomsmen brought a whole different kind of energy — playing pool, cracking jokes, and setting a party-like atmosphere that made filming a lot of fun.
Their ceremony took place in the barn — dimly lit and intimate, with rustic charm and the soft sound of rain in the background. The atmosphere felt personal and romantic, setting the perfect tone for their vow exchange.
By the time the reception began, the skies had cleared, and the party kicked off with full energy. The packed dance floor was full of movement and joy, with Chris and his Marine buddies leading the charge. Nate from Just Push Play DJ Services kept the momentum going, while Jeffrey Foote Photography captured beautiful images alongside us. A big shoutout to Heather, the on-site coordinator at Curtis Manor, for keeping everything running smoothly.
Ariel and Chris are a truly sweet and authentic couple — the kind of people who light up every room they’re in with laughter and warmth. It was an honor to document their day and preserve it through film.
